Suzanne Haygood

Suzanne has lived and worked for most of her adult life in the Columbia area. She is a proud South Carolinian by choice as she grew up and was formally educated in Southern California (Riverside). She discovered the South by way of Eastern Airlines as a flight attendant based in Atlanta, Ga. As fate would have it, after a few months of flying for Eastern out of Atlanta, the flight crews were furloughed for several weeks due to an airline strike. Suzanne was invited to visit with the family of a fellow stewardess that lived in South Carolina (Winnsboro). This was when she fell in love with South Carolina and her future husband Tommy. And as the saying goes, the rest is history.

Tommy and Suzanne are blessed to have two wonderful daughters, Ashley and Brooks, who grew up and went to school in the Irmo area and both graduated from USC. Ashley is the proud mother of three beautiful daughters and lives in Lexington, SC. Brooks, after graduating from MUSC (Physical Therapy), decided to remain and make her home in Charleston, SC.

Suzanne’s Real Estate education started in 1984 when she became a licensed agent and still continues today. She has been fortunate to have been associated with many of the innovators and achievers in the Real Estate industry over the past 25 years. As Suzanne likes to say, “They might not realize it, but these leaders have all contributed to my success over the years.”

Some achievements, recognitions, and professional designations over the years include: Certified Buyer Representative (CBR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Home Builders Association member, Rookie of the Year 1985, “Life Member” Circle of Excellence, Hall of Fame, Presidents Club, Top Ranked Producer Awards, Top Listing and Top Sales Agent awards, Home Builders Association Regal Award.

Suzanne measures her “real” success by the many clients and customers who continue to trust her with their Real Estate needs, and in many cases, becoming life long friends.
