Jeannie Michaels

I grew up in Columbia,SC and have seen the area grow so much! I graduated from the University of South Carolina and now live in the Lake Murray area.

Since beginning my career in real estate, I have witnessed gas hikes, high interest rates, low interest rates, the tax reform act, the dot com crash, the 911 tragedy and the “financial crash” of 2008. I am experienced in the market place and have helped buyers and sellers through many types of transactions.

I am a proud resident of the Town of Lexington-Columbia. I have spent most of my life in the midlands of South Carolina, except for when my career took me away to Nashville, Tennessee for 17 years. There I met my husband, Jon Michaels, a singer song writer at the time. When my daughter Jennings was born in 2007, they knew there was no better place to raise a family than South Carolina. We decided to move to the town of Lexington because of the welcoming atmosphere, the great school system and the beauty of Lake Murray. Since my return, I have immersed myself fully in the community, working as a local Realtor for Exit Real Estate Consultants. I am active in my child’s school, the local JDRF Chapter, and in addition, I have served on the Lexington Planning Commission since the beginning of 2015. It is my philosophy, that good committed people should help shoulder the responsibility of guiding a community.

I love my job and helping people with one of the biggest assets people have- their home~ I am dedicated to making a difference in peoples lives.
