    Shadowbrooke is an established community of affordable single-family homes in Lexington, South Carolina. The neighborhood is quiet and mature with developed landscaping. There are approximately 200 homes in the subdivision with pricing that starts in the low $100’s. Typically, homes range in size from two to four bedrooms with 1,200 to more than 2,000 square feet. Shadowbrooke is located in an up-and-coming area of Lexington within walking distance of Lexington High School.     Lexington is one of the fastest growing areas in the state and paving the way in recreation, health facilities, and education, but the biggest draw to the area is Lake Murray, a 50,000 acre man-made recreational lake where residents can enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, skiing and more. There are a number of parks along the shoreline including Dreher Island State Park with nature trails, water activities, and some of the best striped and large-mouth bass fishing spots around.  A number of seasonal lakefront restaurants are also available to enjoy including Catfish Jonny’s and Liberty Taproom & Grill. Lexington also has the added benefit of being just fifteen miles outside of the capital city of Columbia, which is ideal for anyone who wants to live near but not in the city.
