    Christmas in Columbia!

    img_0478Columbia, SC is a great place to celebrate the holidays with friends and family! Many festive and exciting events will be taking place this holiday season!

    Columbia City Presents “Nutcracker”
    Koger Center for Arts presents the annual production, “Nutcracker”. This is a fantastic way to celebrate the holidays with the family and with friends and maybe even start a new Christmas tradition! The “Nutcracker” will be showing at the Koger Center for Arts (1051 Greene Street, Columbia, SC, 29072) every Saturday and Sunday from December 17 to December 18. The shows will begin at 3:00pm and 7:30pm. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased in advance. On December 17, a magical “Nutcracker” tea will be offered before the show from 1:30pm to 2:30pm. This exclusive event will be held the ballroom of the Koger Center, and guests will be invited to enjoy a sit-down tea, cakes, cookies, and much more excitement!

    Main Street ICE
    Visit Columbia’s outdoor ice skating rink for endless fun and memories! Main Street ICE is located at Boyd Plaza (corner of Main and Hampton streets) and will be open from 5:00pm-10:00pm until January 16, 2017. However, the rink will be closed for Christmas day. Monday through Wednesday admission is $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Thursday through Sunday admission is $10 for adults and $8 for children.

    Polar Express in 4-D
    South Carolina State Museum will be showing The Polar Express in extraordinary 4-D! The movie will not only include a 3 dimensional experience, but blasts of air, vibrating seats, and water spray that makes you feel apart of the movie! The movie will be showing every day until January 1, 2017 (excluding Christmas eve and Christmas day).
