The market includes fresh, organic produce grown right here in Columbia, SC! Also, they offer Carolina coastal seafood, pasture-raised beef, pork, lamb and poultry, free range eggs, artisan breads and baked goods, organic maize products, and fresh dairy products right off the farm! Plus, you can enjoy a refreshing drink while strolling the market! The market offers craft beer and wine available for your purchase. They switch it up every week with a variety of music, tastings, food trucks, and specials! The City Roots Farmer’s Market is open to the public, free admission, every Thursday 4 PM to 7PM.     Mardi Gras Parade

    Celebrate Mardi Gras at the City Roots Farmer’s Market and experience the infamous parade Saturday February 25th! Bring your friends and family and encourage them to wear their best Mardi Gras costume! The parade rolls out around 11 AM and ends at the City Roots Farmer’s Market. After the parade, the festival will begin and it will include countless tastes of food and fun for everyone. To add to the fun, the festival will include several regional and local musicians and brews from Abita Brewing and River Rat Brewery. The festival begins at 11 AM and ends at 6 PM. Admission is free! It is located at the City Roots And Urban sustainable farm and event venue (1005 Airport Blvd.).

    The Low Country Boil and Craft Beer Jamboree

    Come visit the City Roots Farm, Saturday March 11th, and experience live music, enjoy craft beer, local culture, and cuisine! This is a fantastic, affordable way to spend some quality time outdoors with friends and family! The Jamboree will include 10 live bands performing on two stages, an eclectic ange of craft beers to choose from, a diverse selection of local produce and products, children’s rides, and a giant low country boil! The Jamboree will begin at 12 PM and end at 7 PM. If you order your ticket before the Jamboree, it is only $5! At the door it is $10, and children under the age of 12 are free!
