Be Greek for a week at Columbia’s Greek Festival located at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral at 1931 Sumter Street in Columbia. This is a four-day event lasts from Thursday, September 20th, through Sunday, September 23rd. There is a host of great activities where you can learn about the history and culture of Greece and experience all things Greek.
Church tours will be given and can be either guided or self-guided. There will be Greek folk dancing both inside and outside. Video presentations and discussions of Greek Culture, History, Heritage, and Modern Greece will occur hourly. There will be a live Battle Reenactment from The Warriors of Greece. A variety of Greek dishes from entrees to pastries to Greek coffee as well as imported beer and wine will be served.
