This weekend, August 16-18 the Home Builders Association of the Greater Columbia Remodelers presents the August Home Improvement Show. The 19th annual show will include door prices; guests may bring one item for a free appraisal; and free seminars.
Each day has a specific event. Friday is featured as Beer Night– enjoy the show while you sample beer from various brewing company. Saturday the 17th will include Dr. Lori’s Antique Appraisal & Comedy Show. In addition, the first 50 items brought to each show will be included and appraised at no additional cost. Next, meet author Wade McGuinn and have your copy of his new book “ Building Your Dream Home: What You Need To Know” signed. Lastly, there will be Door Prizes drawn every 20 minutes of the show! Exhibitors will provide great prizes including gift cards to your favorite stores and restaurants, gift baskets, and even CASH!
ReStore will also be at the Convention Center this weekend. They will feature a wide variety of items including doors, windows, furniture, and more. The local ReStore team saves up special items for this event year round. The proceeds will go to our local Habitat For Humanity and help build and remodel homes for those in need.
