The “Get Your Gear On” Sunset Paddle is at 6pm any day and is a wonderful way for you and your significant other to spot some of the beautiful scenery that Lake Murray has to offer. Whether you’re spotting osprey, heron, ducks, geese, turtles or all different kinds of fish, the canoe ride will offer for a unique and relaxing opportunity to enjoy some of Mother Nature’s best creations in a simply majestic environment.
In addition, this Tuesday, July 16th is the Purple Martin Sunset Dinner Cruise on the lake. Every year almost 1 million Purple Martin fly to Lake Murray and root on Bomb Island. Bomb Island is the larger Purple Martin sanctuary in North America and the second largest in the world. Come sail with a great crew and enjoy this magnificent spectacle with a hearty pot roast dinner!

Come visit the EdVenture Children’s Museum for Football, The Exhibit! This 3,000 square foot traveling exhibit from the Museum of Discovery takes a scientific, mathematic, and technological look at America’s favorite sport. This exciting exhibit makes for a great family adventure and provides a new perspective to the sport that we all have grown up with and love! This exhibit is only going to be here for a limited time, so be sure to visit before it’s too late!
The South’s largest children’s museum is the home of Eddie, the world’s largest child, along with 300 exhibits to inspire children to experience the joy of learning. Children can also explore the world-class galleries including Wags & Whiskers, Body Detectives, My Backyard, the Great Outdoors, Critter Garden, World of Work, Over the Horizon and Mission Imagination.
