Executive Chef Tim Peters
Tim has an extensive background in hunting, fishing, and wine tasting. He studied culinary arts in New York and later at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France. He came to Motor, affectionately nicknamed by locals, in 2005. In one year he was also the head wine master choosing select wines that paired perfectly with each new meal he created. Now he chooses the freshest ingredients and prepares everything for Motor from scratch daily. The pickles, mustard, breads, and meats are all produced in-house under Tim’s scrutinizing eye with organic ingredients from the freshest local vendors. His daily menu changes have been exciting patrons for the last eight years.

Some of the lunch dishes that Tim has prepared for Motor include Blackened Tilapia with a Watermelon Salad, Slow roasted duck thigh with peach glaze made from local peaches, Creamy artichoke soup, and Sauteed shrimp with locally caught shrimp in Parmesan sauce. Wines range from specialized Zinfandel from Alexander Valley, Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley, and Rockpile Vineyard to Merlots from Lodi and Oakville. Some of the previous dinner entrees on Tim Peters menu have included Fresh mussels in Spicy Miso broth, fresh locally caught Mahi with lemon and shrimp butter, and braised flat ribs with a red wine demi-glaze.
