Columbia, SC – The 2013 Rhythm on the River Concert Series is well underway, but there’s still time left to catch these great, free concerts.
The Rhythm on the River Concert Series is presented by the West Metro Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center, and has been bringing free concerts to the area for 12 years. The concerts are presented at the West Columbia Riverwalk Amphitheater, located on the Conagree River.
The Lineup
Local favorites and national acts will rock the stage of the West Columbia Riverwalk Amphitheater:
- June 1: Brian Conner & His Amazing Friends
- June 8: Mandy Haddy & The Driving Horses
- June 15: Bill’s Pickin’ Parlor Jam Session

The Venue
Concerts are held at the West Columbia Riverwalk Amphitheater. There is seating available in the amphitheater, so arrive early and grab a good spot. Concert goers can also sit on blankets and chairs on the lawn. Coolers are not allowed, but there will be plenty of vendors on site offering food and beverages. The area has great views of downtown Columbia. Lovers of the outdoors can take advantage of the 4.5 miles of walking trails.
When and Where
