The Saluda Shoals Park will host a Star Spangled Symphonic Salute and laser light extravaganza to celebrate the 4th of July! This is an amazing opportunity to celebrate our country’s independence in a safe family oriented environment. There will be games for the kids available at 8:00pm and the Lake Murray Symphony Orchestra performance and laser light show will begin at 9:00pm. The orchestra will perform a range of music from patriotic music, to sing-alongs, to famous- Broadway tunes. In addition, concessions will be available for purchase from Food on the Move! There will be a $5 per car parking fee. Come out on the lake and enjoy a patriotic laser light show and a fantastic symphony orchestra for the 4th of July!
Saluda Shoals Park is a 400 acre regional park located along the Saluda River on the outskirts of Columbia. The park features an 11,000 square foot Environmental Education Center, Conference Facility & River Center, and the Irmo-Chapin Recreation Commission administration offices. In addition, there are both paved and unpaved trails for the adventurous to hike, bike, or enjoy a horseback ride through the parks lush woods. Furthermore, there is a river observation deck, boat ramp/canoe/kayak launch, picnic shelters, and playground for you to enjoy.
